All the 25 houses were planned to be constructed in the coastal village of Thankey in the existing plots itself owned by the selected poor bene ciary families. The houses were uniform in size having plinth area of 18.9 square meters, apportioned 3,32 m x 2,7 m for living room, 2,5 m x 1,8 m for kitchen and 1,2 m x 1,2 m for attached toilet.
